We want you to vibrate in the awsome and secret Valais valleys
Swiss Alpine Emotion wants you to dive into the fabulous landscapes and heritage of the Swiss Alps. We have carefully created treks and walks that will bring you a mixture of fantastic views over the highest peaks and an experience of life in these areas: you will sleep in traditional, sometimes private huts, eat local food, hear about the tales and legends of the places you walk through, drink local win in traditional private "pubs", visit antique villages and meet with the inhabitants. Our qualified walking leaders all live in the areas they will take you to and therefore can give you a very special, unique experience. In the mountains, they will tell you about the rare flowers, show you and make you taste edible plants, help you spotting the ibex, the marmots and mountain goats. In the villages, they will tell you everything about the local culture and traditions: the "cheese of the dead", the glacier wine, the festivals. Emotions for everyone Are you single, with another person, your family, friends or colleagues ? We have developed a selection of day or two day walks, weekly treks and company outings throughout the whole year. Are you a teacher looking for school programmes in nature ? We have day or weekly school outings that aim at exploring the children or students' five senses through a whole range of activities in nature. Do you like snow shoe touring or wish to discover what it feels like to walk in snow ? We have the winter programmes you need. Sustainable development The whole Swiss Alpine Emotion staff live in the mountains and want you to discover nature, traditions and heritage. We are therefore naturally committed to protect our environment through several principles: we use either our legs or public transport to go from one place to another. We use local, traditional and seasonal products. We move in small groups of 12 people max. We do not leave anything behind in nature. Group size You will never be with more thant 11 other people. Quality and expertise Our mountain leaders are all qualified and have a long experience in leading groups. Furthermore, they live in the valleys they will take you to. They know the most beautiful trails, the most interesting villages. They know everything about the local culture and can therefore make you feel complete part of it. We want to give you the best before, during and after your trek so as to make your holiday in the Swiss mountain an unforettable experience. |
